This bureau is comprised of highly trained specialized units that provide the vital resources necessary for the daily operations of the Sheriff’s Office to fulfill its vision to make Citrus County the safest community in Florida. Operations here encompass the areas of search and rescue, training, and the specialized units of Aviation, Mounted Posse Unit, Bomb Team and many more. The men and women under this bureau strive to develop positive working relationships with the community members it serves.
