Tracy joined the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in March of 2012 as the Senior Accountant in the Finance Department. In September of 2014 was promoted to the position of Finance Director. Prior to joining the CCSO, she built her accounting/finance career working in the private sector for 20 years in various areas of the construction industry. Working from the ground up, Tracy started in entry-level accounting positions and advanced through promotions over the years to the position of corporate Vice-President/Controller for three related corporate entities.
Tracy also had some early career experience in the banking industry as well as the insurance industry. During this time, she held a 220 Property and Casualty license for seven years as a Commercial Agent with a client base made up of many businesses in the Citrus County area.
Director Seffern earned her Certified Public Manager Designation from Florida State University of Florida in August of 2020.
