Director of Human Resources
Cindy joined the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in September of 2021 and serves as the Director of Human Resources. Before joining CCSO, Cindy worked in public, private sector, and not-for-profit organizations in Human Resources - primarily in the health care industry.
Cindy started her career in entry-level HR and accounting positions while going to school at night and ultimately obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Through promotions and education, she advanced to head of HR positions – Chief People Officer and Deputy Director of HR – for various companies and agencies. Cindy moved to Central Florida in 2019 with her husband.
Cindy is a member of the local Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) group and has been a supporter for many years of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). She has been a mentor and career advisor for many young professionals in the HR and business occupations. She has intentionally worked in organizations that serve her communities.
