Gov. Scott Appoints Two to Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems Council
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments to the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems Council.
Sheriff Mike Williams, 49, of Jacksonville, is the Sheriff of Jacksonville. He previously served as a police officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for twenty-four years. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning March 16, 2018 and ending October 1, 2018.
Sheriff Mike Prendergast, 61, of Beverly Hills, is the Sheriff of Citrus county. He previously served in the United States Army from 1978 to 2009. He succeeds Sheriff Larry Ashley and is appointed for a term beginning March 16, 2018 and ending October 1, 2020.
